[Leiko Kondo]

LEIKO ARIEL KONDO!

After accidentally almost killing her little sister and nearly being killed by her father, Leiko was sent from her home in Buffalo, NY, to this island, and has now been living here for 2 years. She is a junior who controls the earth element, and as such, is very in touch with nature and the earth around her. Her hobbies include studying martial arts, playing the violin, flower arranging, and watching Japanese dramas on her computer.

Leiko is a bit of hermit, so she's anti-social by nature. Nonetheless, if she were to make friends, she is the most loyal companion you will ever have. Ever willing to stick her neck out for those she cares about, she is kind and a good listener, even if she can't give the greatest advice for lack of experience.

Before finding out about her "gift", Leiko had crushes on boys just like all the other girls at her school. However, she hasn't been in an actual relationship before. She is cautious though, knowing that she doesn't have the time to spend with jerks when there are better things to do, such as study.

Having the tendency to get on people's nerves easily, Leiko may have a fair handful of enemies. She's always rubbing people the wrong way. She's not the type to hold a grudge unless somebody harmed or threatened to harm somebody close to her.

Leiko & Bluebell I could see these two getting along, and could possibly teach Bluebell to be less of a coward. I don't know what she could offer in exchange, other than accompanyment. She loves nature as well other than all insects, she doesn't like those.

That would be fantastic! Maybe when you post Blue's class schedule maybe they could have a couple of the same classes? It would make sense for them to meet there. And even though Leiko's not the most social girl herself, if somebody was giving herself or Blue a hard time she would tell them off immediately. Maybe she could offer to teach Blue a bit of martial arts, kind of as a way to harness a bit of inner strength? This would be fun, do you want to thread them?

They have photography and creative writing together. That would be fun, I think Blue could learn a bit about her, without being invasive.
