Sitting in Starbucks probably wasnt the greatest idea in the world, since Jazz could've been working that day when she walked in and she wouldnt even have known. But much to her luck, he hadnt been working when she walked in. And even if she managed to run into him here, she'd only be there a couple minutes because she was meeting Lionel to chat. Lionel had proposed the meeting. Since they'd started talking and became friends, he'd been helping her figure things out for herself, with the whole Jazz and feelings issue, and with Beau.
God, Beau... Sighing, she looked down at the porcelin starbucks cup that held her cinnamon latte. It was unfair being with Beau when she still had feelings for Jazz, and she knew it. And it wasnt like she didnt love him. She did... But Jazz was the one she really wanted. She was so stupid. Rubbing her arm, she couldnt help but wish things were easier... She shouldnt have started this relationship with Beau, even when she'd convinced herself she didnt feel a thing for Jazz, that it was just something that came with the physical thing. God knew that was a lie...
Sighing, she moved and took a large drink from her mug. Beau deserved better than her. She felt like such a user, being with him while she felt something for another man. Hell, she was a user. All she'd done was use Jazz for her own physical needs and - even if he used her in the same way - it wasnt right to do it. Snapping herself out of her own thoughts, she looked around, wondering where Lionel was. She wished he'd show up soon... If she was lucky, he would and she wouldnt have to think about it anymore.

Arriving a little late on an average day, that would otherwise be used for really relaxation and recharging. Not like that was too important to Lionel, but still it was something that was significant to the arrangement. It seemed that Ash was going to talk to him about something and the meeting seemed to be arranged. A gleam, or so it seemed to him, was in the corner of her eye whenever she spoke of Adair. Adair was a significant part of his life, and he felt as if the younger man was his younger brother at times. Also he identified with the other man at times as himself, due to the fact earlier in his lifetime, he partied too much for his own good. And it hurt his family that he had left, but he hadn't told Adair yet.
This was due to the fact that he didn't need to be pitied. He didn't want that either, he just wanted to do his job correctly and do the best he could to help Adair. Also he had some other secrets that he hadn't exactly owned up to yet as well; he was secretive with his life, he was the definition of a closed book. Ash was something that seemed to make Adair smile, and Lionel appreciated that and its entirety. Something that struck him off, was the fact that she was with Beau, when it seemed that they had feelings for each other. That was always frustrating to him, due to the fact he sensed that they should be a couple. Not that it would blind him, he was going to be straight-forward with her and honest. Well other than with their secrets of course, that would be dumb as all hell.
Quickly he walked into the coffee shop and looked around until he noticed Ash. He sat down and looked at her, in all honesty with a lot of tension rising in the air, so he said, "Spill." It was a one syllable word that said everything, yet somewhat meant nothing.
