--crowd applauses as the talk show host steps onto the stage and sits down--

Hello, loves. It would seem that we have someone very new to talk shows in today. This is his first. How lucky we are to have Mr. Dominic Moretti here with us today. How about giving him a good round of applause as he comes up on stage here.

--applause again, cheering as he approaches the sitting area--

Ah, yes, isnt he such a handsome man, ladies? I'd bet some of you would like to get your claws into this ones back. -chuckles- Well, Dominic, you're very popular lately, having written a new series of mystery novels, but we arent here to talk about those today, though, I must say, I have read the first two of them and they are spectacular May I ask you a few personal questions? I think the world would love to get to know such a strapping author as yourself, especially after you hit it big with your books.

*chuckles* I dont mind at all. What would you like to know?

Well, how about telling us a bit about yourself?

Tough question. *chuckles* I dont generally talk much about myself. Uh, well, my full name is Dominic Jerat Moretti. I go by Dom, though. I was born on September 18th, at 2 in the afternoon in 1965. *chuckles* My parents are Charles and Eliza Moretti, who are originally from Lisièiæ, which is a small village in Croatia, where I was born.

Croatia? How interesting. Yet, I've read that you were raised in Canada. Tell me, how did that happen?

After my birth, my father took a job in Montreal, Quebec, where we moved when I was only six months old, so obviously, I dont remember anything about Lisièiæ. I spent a very good portion of my childhood learning to speak both Croatian and French. *smiles* Both languages are relatively easy, although, I suppose Croatian was because it was in my blood, as my mother used to claim. I went to a private school in Montreal, where my mother spent a good amount of money so that I could get where I needed to be, where I am today.

Now, if I may interupt, what was your relationship with your parents?

Well, my father was rarely home. He spent most of his time working in a car dealership and when he came home, it was to work more in his office. *shrugs* I spent most of my time with my mother. She had this amazing passion for literature. Her favorites were the old Arthurian legends *smiles faintly* She would read them to me when I was a child. She was what inspired me to write, in the long run. And among other things, she taught me to cook, about manners, how to treat everyone with the proper amount of respect, how to be a gentleman.

Look at that, ladies, chivalry isnt dead. And he can cook. *grins* What about siblings? Any older or younger brothers or sisters out there?

Fortunately for me, no. *smiles* My parents never had any children before, or after, me. But I, on the other hand, have two beautiful children.

Interesting. Tell me about them, then.

Well, my oldest child is 20 years old and her name is Jezabel Moretti. She's got the same dark hair and eyes that I do, and the same spunky personality. She's actually a mechanic, which is something she learned from me. I restore old cars, motorcycles and such in my spare time *chuckles* whenever I need something new to do. So, she took that as her dream job, and she's amazing at it.

She sounds like a peach. *smiles* what about your other child?

Actually, my other child is my 3 year old son, Jerack. *chuckles* I cant tell you much about him right now, but he and his sister are amazing together. Jeza takes care of him all the time, protects him. Just like their mother and I do.

Thats something else we need to learn about! What's your wife like? Whats her name? How'd you meet?

*smiles and leans forward, his elbows propped on his knees* Well, my wife was born in a small town called Meadow Lake in Saskatchewan, up in Canada. I was there for research for my first book. As most of you know, the first book in my series is based in Meadow Lake. Anyway, I was sitting in a park there, writing, and I looked up and the first thing I noticed was this beautiful, dark haired woman. She was with a group of girls, who I later found out were her sisters. But the only thing I could focus on was her. *chuckles* I walked over to her just after she passed me, and I asked her out point blank. Her name is Alexa and she is the most amazing, artistic woman I've ever met.

That's adorable, sweetheart. Is she in the audiance today?

Regretably, no. She's currently back in Meadow Lake for a week to look after her sister, Heather, since she's gone in for surgery on her wrist. I'm hoping she wont be gone too long though. *chuckles* I seem to be going through withdrawl without her.

--crowd awes--

*chuckles and shrugs* I'll get through it.

*smiles* Well, then, what are your plans now? You have a lovely wife, you beautiful children, and your own series. What do you plan for the future now?

*chuckles* Well, first of all, to get both my kids through school and into their own jobs. Other than that, I want to continue writing, hopefully bring out a few more of these books. Maybe start another series after this one is over. Aside from those things, I have no clue. Just going through the motions I guess.
